So, we are a little more than a year away from moving to our new HQ. I think a lot about what this new experience will be like… what changes I’ll be making, who is going to sit next to me, and when we’ll be able to check out a menu for the food. I’m really excited, mostly due to the fact that working at HQ is all pretty new to me. You see, I was in a branch and not making the move up until a few weeks ago, when the Credit Union Protection Team added me to their team. My goal all along has been to be in a position that would end up at the HQ. I’m also excited because I enjoy the Brighton and have many friends in the area. And it works out perfectly for my family, as far as future living arrangements go.
In regards to the building and having everyone in the same place at once, I can’t wait for the increase in efficiency that will bring for our members. It’ll be great to feed off of each other's energy. And, being able to easily access everyone at HQ, every day, will be very beneficial to the growth and future of Lake Trust. I can’t wait to work with everyone I don’t see on a daily basis, and look forward to eventually getting to know more about so many of the great people that make Lake Trust what it is. In turn, they’ll also get to meet me, which in my opinion is a pretty big deal!
