There’s power in all of us to make a positive impact in our communities. While one person can inspire change, the collective work of many people can start a movement. And this is the focus behind the Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation Raffle.
The Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing wellbeing in Michigan communities. To date, we’ve awarded a cumulative total value of over $1.8 million in scholarships, given more than $690,000 in community grants, and provided over 616,000 meals to those in need in our state.
By channeling the power of community through the Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation, we can work together to make an even bigger impact.
Focus of the Foundation
Through the Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation, we focus on wellbeing through the following areas of impact: Empowering entrepreneurs; enabling youth to thrive; fostering economic equity; supporting attainable and secure housing; and strengthening Michigan communities. To do this, our nonprofit provides grants and donations to support other local nonprofit groups and community projects that align with our areas of focus. The Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation also awards yearly scholarships to support students who wish to attend college or a trade school.
To further enhance our mission to support wellbeing in Michigan, the Lake Trust Credit Union Foundation launched an ongoing Raffle in October 2023. A portion of the proceeds from the Raffle support the work of our nonprofit, making it possible to give back to more organizations and community-based projects across the state.
How the Raffle Works
If you’re a Lake Trust member, you could win up to $20,000 when you purchase a Raffle ticket!1 To purchase tickets for $20 each, visit any Lake Trust branch during any Raffle period. Then tune in on the drawing date to see if you’re a winner. The maximum amount of $20,000 can only be won if all 3,000 tickets are sold within the Raffle period.
